Attorney Nicole “Nikki” Ingelido
Compassionate Family Law & Legal Advocate Serving Southwest Florida
Originally born in Latrobe and raised in the heart of Southwest Florida on Pine Island, Nicole “Nikki” Ingelido brings deep local roots, compassion, and real-life understanding to every client she serves. Having grown up in Lee County and attended Pine Island Elementary, Trafalgar Middle School, and Mariner High School, Nikki has a genuine connection to the families and communities throughout Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and the surrounding Southwest Florida area.
Her passion for helping others began long before law school. While attending Florida Gulf Coast University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, Nikki dedicated countless hours to volunteer work focused on serving local families and children. She assisted elementary school students in Fort Myers and Immokalee with learning to read and speak English, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity helping build homes for families in need, and worked alongside her church serving meals to the homeless in downtown Fort Myers.
At just 21 years old, Nikki began her legal career working for Antonio J. Perez Benoit, P.A. as a receptionist. Determined to continue growing professionally and personally, she later worked multiple jobs while preparing for law school, demonstrating the strong work ethic and dedication that still define her today.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law in Naples, Florida, and was proudly part of the first graduating class to complete all three years at the school following its relocation from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Southwest Florida. During law school, she gained valuable experience interning with Barthel Family Law in Fort Myers before returning to Antonio J. Perez Benoit, P.A. as a legal secretary during her second year of law school.
After passing the Florida Bar in 2013, Nikki immediately stepped into active legal practice and began working as an associate attorney. Her courtroom experience began quickly, handling solo trial work shortly after being sworn in. Since then, she has continued building a reputation for being approachable, hardworking, compassionate, and fiercely dedicated to helping clients navigate difficult legal situations with confidence and clarity.
Throughout her career, Nikki has remained active within the legal community, including involvement with the Collier County Bar Association and leadership roles within local legal associations.
In 2023, Nikki joined Albert Matthews Law and is excited to continue helping further the firm’s mission of guiding and supporting clients through important life transitions with compassion and integrity.
Outside of the office, family is at the center of Nikki’s world. She enjoys spending time with her fiancé, their two young children, extended family, and their energetic puppy while exploring parks, playgrounds, trails, and new adventures together in their new home in Alabama. Nikki and her fiancé have been together for eight wonderful years and are excitedly planning their future together, embracing all of life’s unexpected and meaningful moments along the way.
She also hopes to return to her love of travel and exploring new places as her children grow older.
At Albert Matthews Law, Nikki is proud to help individuals and families throughout Southwest Florida feel heard, supported, and empowered during some of life’s most important moments.
